About Kate
Hello! My name is Kate. I am an incoming engineering student at Duke University. I've taught as an SAT math bootcamp tutor, and as a pre-calculus peer tutor at my school. I have been certified and trained by Schoolhouse (run by Khan Academy) as an SAT bootcamp tutor. I have experience as a babysitter and summer camp counselor.

In tutoring, I try to be patient and create a non-judgmental and open space. With that, I hope to find ways unique to each student to problem solve. I usually teach by solving example problems and using engaging questions. I have completed the Schoolhouse SAT bootcamp tutor training.
