About Paige
He uri tēnei nō te ahorua o Wairarapa Moana (Ngati Kahungunu ki Wairarapa me Rangitāne) tae atu ki Tauranga Moana (Ngati Ranginui).
I am a passionate kaiako of Te Reo Māori, teaching Years 3-8 currently. I have experience teaching Years 9-13 as well as adults. My hope is to help others grow their knowledge of the Māori language as well as Tikanga Māori (Māori customs and protocols) at their own pace.

I am a primary school kaiako, teaching in a rūmaki reo (full immersion te reo Māori) classroom. Graduated from Victoria University with a BA/BTeach in Te Reo Māori, Geography & Teaching. Happy to teach all beginning and intermediate levels of Te Reo Māori, focusing on; • pānui (reading) • tuhituhi (writing) • kōrero (speaking) I am aware that we all learn differently so I am happy to plan & cater to your specific needs, making learning accessible for you. I plan and create lesson slides that will be sent to you after each lesson.

Paige is an excellent kaiako reo Māori, and I highly recommend her. I am an adult learner at intermediate level, and our lessons are mostly full immersion. Paige has a great teaching style and is always well prepared with individualised lessons that extend my learning. She is confident, an excellent fluent speaker, and at the same time humble!
