My Approach to Tutoring and Teaching
As an English tutor, my teaching approach is highly student-centered and adaptable. I believe that every learner is unique, so I tailor my lessons to fit individual goals, strengths, and areas for improvement. I focus on building confidence, fluency, and a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and comprehension.
• Techniques and Methodology:
I use a mix of interactive techniques including:
Conversational practice to improve speaking and listening
Reading and writing exercises to build academic or professional skills
Grammar drills and vocabulary games
Real-life scenarios, role-plays, and multimedia resources (videos, articles, etc.)
I also incorporate feedback regularly so students can track their progress and stay motivated.
• Typical Lesson Length:
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, but I also offer 30-minute or 90-minute sessions depending on the student’s preference and goals.
