"Sometimes I worry that students focus too much on grammar books rather than actually speaking the language aloud. My approach prioritizes listening practice and everyday phrases for beginners because I know that practical utility builds momentum faster than anything else.
Whether we are drilling reading comprehension or discussing the differences between Latin American and Castilian variants, I ensure you have space to make mistakes and learn from them. With 13 years of experience, I am able to pivot quickly if a certain concept does not land the first time. We will cover DELE exam prep and cultural context as part of our regular workflow. "When working with those preparing for relocation or serious exam prep, I keep the focus on real usage. Often, I think about how language is just another form of rhythm that connects cultures across the globe. Having spent 12 years performing in the Australian Latin music scene, I bring authentic cultural context and vocabulary building to every conversation.
I have helped 391 students find their voice in a new tongue since I started my teaching practice. My background includes a Diploma of Music from JMC Academy which informs how I teach accent and intonation to intermediate learners. It is a slow process of discovery. We keep it simple."
