About Megan
I have been giving private art lessons for over 20 years as well as instructing in Art schools and organizations from the East Coast to Santa Fe, New Mexico. I have experience in one on one lessons as well as instructing groups and all ability ranges are invited! My background also includes teaching art in the special needs community and using art as a healing tool for children who are greiving the loss of someone close to them. My paintings hang in rooms all over the United States and my ability to teach anyone how to unlock their inner artist is second to none.

My teaching method is teaching in steps so that each skill builds on the last. I also believe that teaching art is showing people techniques that once they do it changes them, almost as if they are remembering something they already knew. I am patient and supportive and believe that every person has an artist talent and ability which only needs the right environment to help it bloom.
