Hello! I'm a mathematics teacher with a passion for making math clear, logical and enjoyable for every student.
MY EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND
- B.Tech from IIT (2016)
- M.Tech from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, one of India's top research institutes
- Worked at ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation), where I applied advanced mathematics to real engineering problems

- 9+ years of teaching mathematics, from school fundamentals to IIT-JEE level
- 3+ years of teaching online, with students learning comfortably from home

WHY I TEACH
After working in engineering and research, I chose teaching because I enjoy that moment when a student finally says, "Now I understand!" Many students think they are "weak in math", but in my experience they usually just need the right explanation and some patience. I love helping students turn fear of math into confidence.

MY APPROACH: UNDERSTAND FIRST, THEN PRACTICE UNTIL IT'S EASY
Math isn't about memorizing formulas. It's about understanding why they work. With an IIT B.Tech, an IISc M.Tech and engineering experience at ISRO, I've used mathematics to solve real problems, and I bring that same clarity to every lesson. My goal is to make each student confident enough to solve problems they've never seen before.
MY TEACHING TECHNIQUES
- Concept first: every topic starts from the basic idea, with visual explanations and real-life examples, before any formulas.
- Step-by-step problem solving: I break difficult problems into small, logical steps so students learn how to think, not just what to write.
- Smart shortcuts with understanding: after the concept is clear, I teach the time-saving tricks used in competitive exams like JEE.
- Finding gaps: I quickly identify weak foundations from earlier classes and fix them, because most "difficult" topics are really gaps in basics.
- Interactive online lessons: I use a digital whiteboard so students can watch each step, ask questions anytime and solve along with me.
THE USUAL STRUCTURE OF A CLASS (60 MINUTES)
1. Warm-up (5 min): a quick recap of the last lesson and any doubts from homework.
2. Concept (20 min): the new topic explained clearly with examples.
3. Guided practice (20 min): we solve problems together, moving from easy to challenging.
4. Independent practice (10 min): the student solves problems on their own while I give instant feedback.
5. Wrap-up (5 min): a summary of key points and homework tailored to the student's level.
Each student receives regular progress feedback, and parents are kept informed.
