About Ian
I’m a third-year Computer Science student with a strong passion for Mathematics. My love for Math is what led me to pursue Computer Science, as it involves a lot of mathematical thinking and problem-solving. With university expenses adding up, I started tutoring as a way to earn some money on the side. However, it quickly became more than just a job as I genuinely enjoy helping students understand and appreciate Math. I believe that with the right approach, anyone can excel in the subject, and I strive to make my lessons clear, engaging, and tailored to each student’s needs.

I believe that mutual respect between tutor and student is key to effective learning. I don’t just teach—I connect with my students as equals, creating an engaging and comfortable learning environment.
Maths and Additional Maths have always been my strengths, which is why I pursued a degree that involves a lot of mathematics and started tutoring. As a student tutor, I offer affordable rates for Year 10/11 IGCSE Maths, but I never compromise on quality. My lessons are clear, structured, and tailored to each student’s needs, ensuring they gain both confidence and mastery in the subject.
If you're looking for a tutor who genuinely cares about your understanding and success in Maths, feel free to reach out!
