About Tuğçe
METU Department of Biology B.Sc., Bilkent University Dept. of Archaeology MA holder. I will be a Ph.D. student at the University of Queensland. IELTS overall: 8.0 is my last English proficiency. I also have TESOL (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages). In addition to my classroom teaching experience, I taught especially middle school students.

The most important thing about the lessons is that I know exactly what you expect. First of all, I need to fully understand your level. We must set a solid target that we expect to achieve.
I prefer grammar topics to come first in the lessons. Then, we need to do exercises that will reinforce this grammar. I should especially identify the topics in which you struggle in these questions and provide more exercises on these topics. For example, although you are very good at grammar, it may be necessary to enhance your vocabulary. For this, we should concentrate specifically on vocabulary with you.
We need to study all four main skills in each lesson. For example, it is necessary to reinforce a newly learned pattern through writing, speaking, reading, and listening. For this, we can follow many fun exercises and methods. Especially games are particularly useful for children for their learning processes.
During the lessons, I pay particular attention to speaking only in English. Learning is a process that is passive as well as active, that is, you need to live in English constantly. If you try to communicate with me in Turkish in the lessons, our efficiency will decrease. Instead, actively speaking with me will get you used to it over time.

Tuğçe'yi çok uzun zamandır tanıyorum. Lisede genç yaşlarda başlayan uluslararası platform deneyimleriyle İngilizce hakimiyetini üst seviyeye çıkardı. Odtü ve Bilkent'te lisans ve lisansüstü eğitimlerinde iyice pekiştirme şansı buldu. Gerek akademik yazıların gerektirdiği karmaşık dil olsun, gerekse topluluk önünde herhangi bir konuyu tartışmak olsun hiç zorluk çekmedi.
İngilizce'nin her alanına hakim olmasının yanı sıra insan olarak da şahane biridir ve iletişimi çok güçlüdür. Zorlayıcı görünen konuları pratik ve kolay sindirebilen hale getirebilir. Bilgilidir, donanımlıdır. Sadece İngilizce değil, ders süresince başka konular hakkında da bilginizin artacağına eminim.
