I found Donna’s advertising online around 2019, I think. Back in the day, we lived in this “weird world” where we used to have lessons in person.
When I started, my English skills were pretty limited: I could barely keep up with a normal conversation, let alone my writing skills.
Donna was providential. She has a particular methodology that reminds me of the titans of pedagogy, such as Paulo Freire. In other words, her pedagogy involved using students’ day-to-day activities and interests to boost vocabulary, lexicon, and control of grammatical usage.
I went from barely knowing English to passing the IELTS test for academic purposes with her help in 2 years. (Which is some time but you need to remember we had Covid pandemic in the middle.
