About Weichen
I'm Weichen, currently an NUS undergrad studying Materials Science and Engineering, under full scholarship. I aspire to be the "smart" type of learners and aim to help my student to achieve as well--where we maximize the efficiency per unit time during learning, and then we can play hard.
As a testimonial to my academic ability, I have published a research paper in a top journal during my time in Hwach, and also clinched several acads awards (e.g. UKChO rnd 1 Gold medal for 3 consecutive years, 2 SPhL Gold medals, SChL Gold medal).
Outside of acads, I love playing volleyball, and currently I am a huge fan of Arknights (3yr+) and Wuthering Waves (1yr+).

I conduct my lessons in an interactive manner as I believe this is the core value of 1-to-1 sessions. I will be guiding the student along to actively understand, dissect, and solve the question. With a thorough understanding of the prevailing syllabus (O-A-Olympiad level), I am able to guide the student from a higher perspective to structure their learning more efficiently, while my own personal learning experience helps me to understand the challenges faced by students very well. A lesson is typically 2 hrs long and can be either face to face or online via Zoom.
