About Meghan
My name is Meg and I am a current student paramedic. Throughout my own education, I have often struggled with conventional ways of learning, such as simply reading from PowerPoint slides or learning in a very linear way. Through my current degree, I have realised that I am a much more practical, hands-on learner, and this has helped me understand how important it is for teaching to be adapted to the individual. I now have the tools, knowledge and experience to support learners who may feel similar to me, helping them find ways of learning that make sense, build confidence and make human biology feel more interesting and achievable.

I offer friendly, supportive and engaging human biology tutoring for learners studying at GCSE level and below, and I am also happy to support learners studying A Level human biology or related topics.
My teaching approach is adaptive and student-centred. I understand that learning is not linear or the same for everyone, so I aim to tailor each session to the individual learner’s needs, confidence level and preferred way of learning. I can go through material they have covered in class, help break down difficult topics, and create interesting and memorable ways of learning to make the content easier to understand.
Lessons can be either 30 minutes or 1 hour, depending on the student’s age, needs, concentration span and the level of support required.
I am a current student paramedic (just finished my second year) with experience teaching human biology at GCSE level and below. I also hold a teaching qualification: the Level 3 Award in Education and Training, which supports my ability to plan and deliver inclusive, structured and effective lessons.
These sessions are suitable for GCSE students, younger secondary school pupils, home-educated learners, and A Level students who would benefit from patient, confidence-building support in human biology.
