About Mollie
In February 2021, I will begin studying BA (Hons) English Language and Literature with The Open University. The Open University is an online university; consequently, I will be very flexible with times and can teach my lessons at your preferred time.
I hold a B in GCSE English and Media Studies.
I am offering lessons for any age up to Year 11, as well as those taking Entry 1-3 or Level 1-2 Functional Skills (in college).
My previous job was in an After School Club and for my Early Years Level 2 course at college I participated in placement with Year R; therefore, I have experience working with children aged 4-11.
I have knowledge of the National Curriculum for all ages and will bring my printed version with me to each lesson.

When I initially meet my students my object is to find out what type of learner they are, their weaknesses and strengths in English, and what keeps them focused and motivated.
The above aspects are my initial object as it is extremely important for me to know this information about my students so that they can enjoy the lessons, stay focused, and understand our lessons.
Following lessons will then be personalised to the needs of my students.
Before all of my lessons with my students, I will make sure to ask if they have anything that they would either like to go over or start working on in our next lesson.
My main tutoring goal is for my students to achieve their goals, believe in themselves, have a supportive tutor, and to have fun yet educational lessons for the best outcomes possible.
I can offer lessons at your house, online, or in a public place, such as a cafe, a library, outdoors, etc.
If you would like lessons at your house then I am available to those in Hythe, Folkestone, and Dymchurch, as well as areas in between each town e.g. Saltwood.
Lessons can either be online just during lockdown then after I will come to your house, or always online.
If you would like lessons solely online you can be located anywhere around England.

Lessons must be cancelled 24 hours in advance.
If cancellation occurs within 24 hours then a fee of £14 will be charged.
If a package lesson is cancelled then the missed lesson will still be counted as one of them.
