About Hester
Hello everyone! My name is Hester Greyvenstein and I am very excited to hopefully help you achieve your academic dreams.
I am a journalist and editor by trade. I spent my high-school career in the Middle East where I was lucky enough to obtain my IGCSEs and my IB certificate. With my Honours degree in Journalism and my Undergraduate majors in English, French, Political Science, and Psychology - I have learned many skills to pass on.
I have career experience in the news sector, ESL tutoring, copywriting, online marketing, and editing for online schools.

I spent time in my school career not knowing how to study. This has led me to understand that every learner is different. My lessons, guides, activities, and more are not standard - I get to know my learners and adjust them accordingly to ensure everyone gets the most out of the lesson. My mother tongue is both Afrikaans and English and I have a working knowledge of French.
A typical lesson from me is engaging and I believe in the power of practising while using all your senses.
My lessons are aimed at all ages and levels - including but not limited to writing guidance and speeches.
