About Mehek
Hi! I'm a dedicated tutor and mentor with a passion for helping students build confidence and succeed academically.
I earned a 34 ACT score, including a perfect 36 in English, and have extensive experience supporting students in writing, public speaking, and presentation skills. My background includes serving as a YMCA Student Leader, as well as an Adventures in Writing Counselor, where I guided young students through creative writing activities and helped foster a love of learning. I have also worked as a public speaking tutor for children with special needs, tailoring lessons to each student's unique strengths and communication style to create a supportive and encouraging environment. In addition, I have over five years of babysitting experience, which has strengthened my patience, creativity, and ability to connect with students of all ages. During college, I tutored peers in honors presentations/writing courses, helping them develop strong essays, research projects, and presentations.
Whether your student needs help with writing, English, reading comprehension, presentations, or building confidence in speaking, I strive to make learning engaging, personalized, and fun. My goal is not only to improve grades but also to help students develop skills that will benefit them long after our sessions are over.
