About Isabella
Hi, my name is Isabella! I am an honor student dedicated to helping students achieve academic success, work through challenging concepts and problems, and unlocking full potential.
As a senior in high school, I am aware of the challenges students may face. Because of this, I know how to make difficult classes and complex concepts more manageable. I don't just teach students the material, but also how to form better study habits so they can improve beyond the tricky classes.
Every tutoring session is structured, interactive, and caters to the student's needs and requests in order to ensure academic success.
I am here to guide students every step of the way!

For elementary students I use engaging and interactive lessons and practice problems to encourage their involvement in the material and maintain focus. I celebrate small wins to build academic confidence and help them create study and homework plans to leave a lasting impact. For older students (middle school through high school), the lessons are more in-depth and focused. A step-by-step lesson plan would involve review and warm-up questions in the beginning of the session to ease them into the subject. Then I break down complex concepts using homework or practice problems. Finally I wrap the session up with final questions to make sure they retain the lesson and understand the concepts.
What sets me apart from other tutors is the peer connection and better understanding. Since I am an honor student, I am more familiar with how teachers grade and write tests, and am aware of the struggles that students may have. Thereby, I am able to account for those important details and build a connection with the students to help them feel comfortable and ready to learn.
