Lorna became family when she and my nephew married a few years ago. When they met, she was already successfully teaching English online from her home in the Philippines. When she moved to the United States, Lorna worked very hard to complete requirements for her teaching license to be valid here. Although students here seemed to be less attentive than those she had taught before, Lorna studied, consulted teachers like myself, and worked to understand her students' needs and quirks. She teaches Middle School classes and her students love her structure, her authenticity, and her love of them. Mrs Lorna Staller was my English teacher and she taught me skills that I use everyday as a high schooler. Thanks to her, her teaching, and her assignments my reading and writing has improved.
