About Lixuan
I am a Master’s student hailing from Borneo, the third largest island in Malaysia, a former British colony. My previous studies consisted of Economics and Environment and Development. I am now on a part time law conversion course. I have lived in the UK for almost 3 years. I have a passion for writing blogs and telling stories of my region and it’s fascinating historical and natural elements. I speak 6 languages albeit to varying degrees due to my multicultural upbringing and educational background. When I’m not busy with my studies or work, I enjoy dancing ballet and I also play the piano and violin.

My lessons will consist of hourly sessions where I can go through any queries that you have or deconstruct sample papers with you. I like to bring in an element of experiential learning as I feel it is the best way to learn from your mistakes and through practice you are less inclined to feel scared on the day of your exam. It also brings in the opportunity to reflect on your work. I have experience teaching disabled children and cleaners who are in their 50s and whose first language was not English. I would be able to teach most age groups up till A Levels.
