About Brandon
I am, above all else, a huge history nerd. The games I play are historical or packed with historical information, the videos I watch are histories and mythologies from around the world, and the research I do is on histories of places not covered in school to gain a fuller understanding of the history of the world. (I can also talk for hours about semiplausible case for Atlantis, but that probably won't help your grades, lol).
I have earned 4's and 5's on all the AP history tests, and have learned analytic methodology of primary sources from an incredible professor in college. I aim to learn something new about history every day for the rest of my life, because I believe that the past holds many answers for how we should live in the future.

My lessons are not typical history lessons. I will not tell you what happened and expect you to memorize facts. I will not say that there is ever an objectively right answer about analyzing history.
What my lessons will do is examine different sources and analyze the inherent biases and context to the historical setting. History is nothing more than educated guesswork based on incomplete evidence, and the job of a historian is to determine what the most likely truths. My lessons are intended to surpass the standards of typical history classes by giving students the tools to analyze historic sources and incorporate knowledge from other disciplines to build effective arguments for their position.
