About Darian
I am a History and Politics graduate from Oxford University who is currently studying postgraduate law. I received 5 A*s at A level in English Literature, Classics, Politics, History, and my EPQ, and have extensive tutoring experience.
I have always had a passion for providing a high-quality education which is accessible and attainable to all. I look forward to having interactive and engaging lessons with my students. I hope to make topics of more interest and fun, so that students feel confident and invested in their subjects. It is extremely rewarding when I see my students perform well, especially when they can grow in confidence and intelligence within their subject. I look forward to the journey!

My lessons are flexible, usually lasting between 1hour and 1hour 30 minutes, but it is dependent upon the wishes and needs of the student. I have tutored several students for Oxbridge entry, in which many have been successful at interview stages and at final entry. My lessons are aimed at the ages of 14-22. My teaching methods, like the Oxbridge tutorial system, are about encouraging independent and analytical thought and answers from my students throughout the process. I also provide didactic teaching where necessary to learn (or re-learn) newer topics. Overall, I provide a variety of learning approaches which aim to drive forward the student's abilities and to encourage new perspectives on the curriculum content.
