Undergrad degree in History, Graduate degree in Education. 20 years experience as a High School Social Studies Teacher, with strengths in teaching not only curriculum, but note-taking skills, study skills, reading skills. My teaching method is to form a personal learning relationship with my students. To ask questions, listen, and then formulate my curriculum and method based on student needs and interests. I incorporate research assignments to enhance student engagement, use verbal as well as written assessments to evaluate student learning.
