About Lauren
I have been dancing competitively since I was 16, competing against other London boroughs and winning for Barking and Dagenham. I continued to dance in university and am currently part of the first team for dance. Furthermore, I also teach the second team hip hop and Afro dance.

I teach dance at an advanced level. The lesson structure includes me showing the students the dance, then breaking it down into smaller parts, getting them to repeat until they get it, both with music and without. At the end of lessons, I watch them dance in order to grasp how well they get the dance.
