About Honi
I am an experienced piano tutor with over 10 years of teaching students from school, college, and professional backgrounds. My teaching philosophy focuses on creating a structured, positive, and encouraging learning environment where students can progress at their own pace while developing both technical proficiency and musical creativity.
I have guided students through performances, graded exams, and competitions, helping them gain confidence and achieve milestones. Lessons cover technique, sight-reading, music theory, improvisation, and expressive playing, tailored to each student’s individual goals and learning style.
I aim to foster discipline, confidence, and a lifelong love for music while ensuring that each lesson is engaging, rewarding, and inspiring.

Supportiveness is key—I motivate students, help them overcome challenges, and celebrate their achievements. This approach also works for other subjects I teach, such as music theory and composition, making sure each lesson is engaging and clear.
Overall, my goal is to create a positive, inspiring, and enjoyable learning experience where students grow musically and personally.
