About Jude
I have taught a lot of students. Mostly I had students who are struggling a lot in Maths. I managed them to achieve better grades than they expected in the end. Some students had A grades, others did very well regarding their strength. I had Chess students who had won medals in school level and international level.

I have a degree in Business Management and Information Communication Technology. I'm very passionate in Maths so I started teaching maths almost 5 years ago. I have been preparing short notes for the students and ask them to teach me what they learnt during the session to help me teach them and understand them easier and also I assured myself that they understood what I taught. Apart from Maths I teach Chess too. I have been playing competitive level Chess for almost my whole life. Represented for world chess tournaments on many occasions also being a chess coach for more than 10 years with tons of experience.

Maths has always been a weakness of mine but Jude has managed to show me so many methods/different ways of approaching a question that makes it so much more straightforward.
He is patient, calm and understanding, and went above and beyond what was expected of him -sending me links to helpful websites or answering my maths questions via text at random points in the day! It was clear from the offset that this isn't just an hours work for Jude - he genuinely wants you to do well - and he is there to support you through the process.

Mr Jude is a trust worthy and dedicated tutor who gives his all to ensure that children learn and understand all they are taught. He currently teaches three of my children and we have seen and continue to see amazing results.
Mr Samarasinghe is an amazing tutor. He is dedicated and patient. He teaches all three of my children and they have made remarkable progress.
First and foremost Jude has a very deep understanding of Opening play, positional Chess and tactics. He is also a very good communicator, has great empathy and understanding with great patience and a passion for teaching. He can communicate ideas at all levels, from learning the basics to deep tactical, positional and endgame analysis. He's also a very nice guy!
Great tutor for maths and chess!
Jude is a great and passionate tutor with an excellent knowledge of his subjects - maths and chess. He has an advanced level on both and can teach these subjects in a way that helps students to understand and achieve successful results.
