About Evrim

Teaching is a great fit for me because I’m a people person. When I worked as a tutor in college, I enjoyed getting to know my students and seeing their progress, and as they progress I was proud of them and myself as I could make a real difference in their lives.

I am a highly qualified English teacher with over twenty years of experience in English language teaching. I hold a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature and English Language Teaching as well as a Master's degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from the University of Melbourne, along with real life and business experience.

As a multilingual, I had the opportunity to discover the mechanics and semantics of three different languages, which, in return, allowed me to foresee the challenges my students are likely to encounter.

I am passionate about teaching. I have taught English face to face and online to adult and young learners all around the world, from Europe to Asia, as well as providing corporate English training to employees of various companies to equip them with the English skills needed for ongoing workplace and professional success. The range of scopes in my online English classes include General English (Beginner to Advanced Level), Academic English, and English Literature as well as IELTS, PTE, OET. I believe in a holistic approach incorporating games and communicative activities in my classes where needed, rather than focusing on boring grammar activities. My students have lots of fun in class and improve many skills using English all the time.

My customized English Training equips you with the English skills needed for social interaction, ongoing workplace and professional success. My professional English tutoring will focus on your individual goals and needs and can include but not limited to the following:

Increasing fluency
Confidence in social interactions, workplace and business English communication
Pronunciation and clear articulation
Increasing vocabulary
Grammar
Formal and Informal writing correspondence skills and presentation skills.
