I was in drama clubs throughout school, and I have volunteered for several local amateur dramatic productions, which raise money for charity.
I also enjoy reading, writing - poetry, fiction, and non-fiction (a selection of my poetry won an award in the WH Smith Young Writers competition), films, comedy, philosophy, vegetarian cooking, running, yoga, tennis, hiking, and the natural world. I have a general enthusiasm and fascination for learning about things, and communicating knowledge to others!

Perfect! My daughter has had a few sessions with Dr James now and the boost to her confidence and knowledge is evident already with her predicted grade after a mock exam going from a C to B, no doubt because of the techniques he has taught her. He is an excellent tutor and has a way of teaching that has helped my daughter so much even in such a short space of time. Highly recommended.

James has been helping me get a more thorough understanding of psychology and is consistently making sure I understand everything we cover. He also helps by providing some very useful anagrams which is extremely helpful for psychology which can feel very content heavy.
James has been tutoring my son, C, in A-Level psychology for the past 5 months and since then there has been a real improvement in C`s understanding of the subject, his general confidence in his knowledge, and the quality of his written work. James is patient and encouraging and keeps C engaged and motivated to improve, making the sessions enjoyable and interesting.
