George is an excellent tutor; he taught my son and I am very proud to say he got into his school of choice on a scholarship. George is very professional, punctual and helpful. He has a great way of engaging with students, even though it's online, and he breaks down topics into simple, fun and interesting lessons that my son genuinely enjoyed.

George has been an invaluable part of my son’s education. He has successfully supported Roman through his 11+ and his entrance exam for Winchester College. George has a wonderful ease with his students which allows him to really connect with them and keep them engaged, even for long sessions. Most importantly, George is a very skilled teacher who is able to break down and explain difficult concepts in a way that makes them digestible for young minds. He is both kind and patient, yet motivating and demanding, and fully invested in helping his students achieve stellar results on their exams.

George was a tutor to two of our children, Thomas and Charlotte, between summer 2016 and January 2018. He worked with Thomas during Year 8 on preparation for his Common Entrance in Latin, Maths and Science. He then worked with Charlotte in the run up to her 11+ school entrance exams, covering Reasoning, Maths and English. Thomas went on to do very well in his Common Entrance, getting As in all of the subjects on which he worked with George, and is now happy at St Paul’s. Having gained a number of 11+ offers, we chose Godolphin & Latymer for Charlotte, which was always our first choice school. George worked well with both Thomas and Charlotte, who have very different personalities. He was ambitious in terms of his expectations for their progress, and they both improved considerably during their time working with him. Of particular note is Thomas’s improvement in Latin, which went from his weakest subject to one his strongest under George’s tutelage, and is still one of his strongest subjects today as he works towards his GCSEs at St Paul’s.
