About Victoria
I am a highly experienced subject leader and teacher who has had the privilege of working with students across the spectrum of abilities, teaching a wide range of subjects and covering various exam specifications.
I am currently teaching part-time at a Prep-School (KS2-3) and running an education consultancy business. Before that I led the Geography Department at a high-achieving grammar school in Kent for 8 years. The departmental outcomes for IB and GCSE were phenomenal, thanks to the emphasis placed on the delivery of a coherent and thorough 7-year curriculum.
I thoroughly enjoy teaching and strive to make learning inspiring, enjoyable and relevant. Whilst there maybe the need to pass exams, I firmly believe that education should empower individuals. I therefore use a range of strategies whether in-person or online, to actively engage those I work with to make the learning process enjoyable and valuable.

Learning is about more than passing exams.
My lessons therefore aim to develop subject knowledge, skills and personal attributes through a variety of strategies that actively engage and inspire students.
When I teach and tutor, my passion for the subject shines through, which previous students have described as infectious. I therefore always endeavour to ensure students see the relevance of the content beyond the exam specification.
Lessons are usually 1 hour and follow a clear format - content, application and review.
I cater for students from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 5, and will adapt lessons to the needs of the student.
