About Caylin
I am a high school Math, Science, and English tutor, currently teaching Grade 12 Physical Sciences, Grade 10 Physical Sciences and Grade 10 Mathematics. I have Cambridge AS and A Level qualifications, strengthened by nearly 2 years of experience in both paid and volunteer tutoring of high school subjects and extra-curricular activities both online and in-person, including IGCSE Mathematics, AS Level English and the Pathfinder Companion curriculum of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

If you come to me with a thirst for knowledge, I will put saltwater in your mouth.
If I spoon-feed you with knowledge, your mind might passively soak it in and just believe in what I am giving you, hoping that it does not drip, trickle or pour out the other ear. If I intensify your thirst, you will pursue that knowledge with everything you have. And I will cheer you on all the way.
In a lesson with me, do not expect to sit through a lecture. Expect to give explanations and make calculations. Expect to start asking simple, difficult, and impossible questions. Expect to go through the process of getting the wrong answer so that you can see how it was incorrect. Expect to delve into your mind and thrash out any relevant misconceptions to see the light-bulb turn on in your head as everything begins to make sense.
The more saltwater you drink, the thirstier you will become. Because the intensity of the pursuit increases the refreshment of the find.
Expect to drench yourself in high-school English, Afrikaans, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, History, and/or Life Orientation. And expect to enjoy the search.
