About Aarna
Hi, I’m Aarna, a Year 9 student who’s always been good at math, but I only recently figured out how to organize my work and approach it in a way that actually makes sense long-term. That’s why I enjoy tutoring—I know the content well, and I also understand what it’s like to feel a bit lost when things aren’t structured properly. I aim to help younger students not just learn the math, but also build routines and habits that make things easier overall. It’s rewarding to see people go from confused to confident, and I really enjoy being part of that process.

I tailor each lesson to suit the student’s pace, learning style, and problem areas. I combine my own explanations with a range of helpful resources I’ve collected over the years—especially Year 7 math booklets and practice sets. Lessons run from 30 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on the student's needs. Last year I led a small tutoring club at school where I helped younger students improve their understanding and reach their academic goals. Beyond tutoring maths, I also support students with organisational strategies—like planning for assignments, keeping track of homework, and building consistent habits. My lessons are designed for Year 8 and under, and I specialise in helping students who find topics (including but not limited to) trigonometry, volume, surface area, and financial maths difficult.
