About Wyatt
Hi! I’m here to help you build confidence and skill in math. I understand that math can sometimes feel challenging, but with the right approach and support, you’ll be able to master it. I have experience in tutoring, I have taken multiple high level math courses and tutored students through school clubs like NHS and Mu Alpha Theta. I’m passionate about making math clear, approachable, and even enjoyable. My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes—because that’s how real learning happens! Together, we’ll break down complex topics into simple steps, practice problems in a way that makes sense to you, and develop strategies to help you feel more confident in your math skills. A normal lesson would consist of communication where you explain what you are having trouble with. Secondly, core practice: explanation, guided practice, and correctional feedback. Then Interactive practice using real world scenarios like games or word problems, challenging you with a difficult question. Lastly, review and summarize key points, and the student explains the processes back. I am able to explain mathematical concepts with ease and can create challenging/ engaging lessons to keep you entertained while learning. I am a high school student with great communication skills and can teach math to students ranging from K-12!
