About Julianna
I've spent the last couple of years tutoring my younger siblings and some classmates, which has helped me learn how to explain things clearly and step by step. I really enjoy creating lessons that are fun and interesting. I like to give students real practice so they can see how much they're improving. It’s great to watch them get better and understand the material!

I focus in helping K-8 students improve their writing and reading comprehension skills. In a typical lesson, we start by reviewing previous work, then I guide the student through reading passages and writing exercises step by step, followed by guided practice and a quick review at the end. I've spent 3+ years tutoring younger siblings and cousins, so I know how to explain things in ways kids really understand. I also love giving students previous ELA state test questions to practice and prepare for real assessments in the future.
