My name is Eshal, and my approach as an English tutor is patient, structured, and student-centered. I focus on helping students truly understand reading and writing skills rather than memorizing answers. I break down concepts into clear, manageable steps and use examples that match each student’s grade level and learning style.
The first session is a free 60-minute meeting, where I assess the student’s strengths, areas for growth, and learning preferences. I also take time to understand what the student enjoys and what helps them stay engaged. This allows me to tailor future lessons specifically to their needs and interests.
A typical lesson begins with a brief review, followed by targeted instruction in areas such as reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, or writing organization. Lessons include guided practice, interactive activities, and time for questions. Each session ends with a short review to reinforce key skills and build confidence.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to adapt lessons to each student while creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment. As a high school senior, I relate well to younger students and understand how to explain concepts in a way that feels approachable rather than overwhelming.
