About Julie
Hi, my name is Julie. I am a high school / A level language teacher from the British system. I have had 14 years of experience working with young people in the UK between 7 and 18 years old. In addition I worked in Spain for 5 years as a teacher of English as a foreign language. I taught at all ages, from the youngest of 5 years old, up to adults in business. I even did a year as an English assistant in a French high school a lot of time ago! I have had plenty of experience preparing students for the GCSE / A level exams and Cambridge exams such as PET, FCE and CAE. I have always been a teacher!

I understand the difficulties associated with learning a language very well because I have studied 4 foreign languages, and for that reason, I am very patient and understanding! I believe that daring to speak a language is the key to success and to really succeed, you have to take the opportunity to speak! My classes will be tailored to the needs of the student - I am not a great fan of textbooks, but I understand that they are sometimes necessary. I prefer to use a mixture of resources to maintain interest.
