About Emerson
I graduated in the class of 2020 and had a significant interest in further maths, maths methods, physics and accounting. I
would like to not only continue to learn every detail about these subjects but also teach them to upcoming VCE graduates.
I want to expand my experience with teaching to areas that I am most passionate about. I started as a swim teacher and I
want to move towards fields I enjoy. For me, this is maths, physics and accounting.
I am currently working as a business support coordinator at Tenfold Business Coaching full time whilst working through my commerce science degree at Monash University. I would appreciate the opportunity to grow my knowledge and understanding of the subjects I loved throughout my high school years.

I will plan out the lesson before hand and have a clear approach of what you want to achieve out of the session. I will leave room for flexibility as the student may want to vary the session based on their prioritised issues.
I will explain the concept/theory of the issue before you begin the examples so the student has a clear understanding of the concept and thus can apply it in situations without guidance from a tutor.
I will provide various examples so the student can apply their knowledge to multiple scenarios as the best way to understand how to solve a problem is to use a previous example you have solved before. With this, I will also ensure the student keeps an open mind as they should not be using the exact example as two problems are not always the same.
