About Christopher
I am a high-achieving University of Melbourne graduate, published academic, and experienced secondary teacher with a strong passion for English, History, and Humanities education.
In addition to my academic and teaching background, I have worked with people from many different walks of life and have lived and traveled throughout Australia and overseas, experiences that have shaped the way I connect with students and understand different approaches to learning.
I pride myself on creating a supportive, approachable, and mature learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, taking intellectual risks, and developing confidence in their abilities.
I chose tutoring because I genuinely enjoy helping students build confidence, discover their strengths, and achieve results they may not have thought possible. Whether a student needs support rebuilding confidence or is aiming for top academic performance, I believe learning should be engaging, challenging, and meaningful.
Opportunities for tutoring times are limited. Time slots, when available, between 4pm and 9pm weeknights and 10am to 9pm on the weekend. By arrangement.

My tutoring approach is personalised, structured, and designed to evolve alongside each student as their confidence and skills develop. I combine clear guidance and achievable goals with lessons that are engaging, supportive, and appropriately challenging. Experienced in helping students who may not yet feel confident in their abilities build meaningful academic success, while also helping high-achieving students who feel stuck at a certain level refine their skills and reach their full potential.
