About Drew
I’m a junior in high school with a strong academic record, maintaining a 3.93 GPA in an honors-level course load. As a varsity baseball player, I’ve learned the value of discipline, teamwork, and consistency: skills that I bring into my tutoring. Math has always been my favorite subject, and I genuinely enjoy helping others understand it. I’m patient, reliable, and committed to creating a positive, encouraging learning environment for every student. My goal is to help students build confidence, master challenging concepts, and feel supported throughout their learning journey.

As a junior in high school who genuinely loves math, I focus on breaking concepts into clear, simple steps and explaining why each method works, not just how to do it. I use examples, guided practice, and quick checks for understanding. My lessons are designed for middle-school and high-school students who need help in Algebra I, Algebra II, or Geometry. What sets me apart is my patience, my ability to relate as a fellow student, and my commitment to building confidence through positive, supportive instruction. A lesson plan for me would involve concept breakdowns, check-ins, and guided and independent practice.

I’m happy to recommend Drew as a tutor. I took Algebra II with him, and he was consistently one of the strongest students in the class. Not only did he understand the material deeply, but he also had a real talent for explaining concepts in a clear, patient, and encouraging way. Drew’s combination of intelligence, kindness, and the ability to break down difficult ideas makes him an excellent fit for tutoring. I truly believe he would be a great support to any student who works with him.
I got tutoring from my friend Drew. He was very patient with me, helped me do the work and apply it to other problems. He did not do the work for me instead he allowed me to learn.
Drew is a fantastic teacher. He personally has helped me thrive in my algebra 2 class after initially struggling this year. I would totally recommend him!!
