About Harel
Hi! I’m a high school student currently taking all honors and AP classes, and I specialize in tutoring algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and precalculus. I know firsthand how challenging math can feel, especially when you're juggling school, homework, and everything else. That’s why I focus on making math as simple and clear as possible. Because I’m in high school myself, I understand the pressure students face and the common roadblocks that make math confusing. As a high school student with a strong academic record in math, I offer tutoring in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and precalculus for middle and high school students. I understand how challenging math can feel, so I focus on making concepts clear, approachable, and even enjoyable.
My teaching method is all about breaking down complex ideas into simple steps. I explain the “why” behind each concept, not just the “how,” so students build real understanding instead of just memorizing formulas. I adapt each session to the student's pace, strengths, and areas that need improvement.
A typical lesson starts with reviewing homework or previous topics to check understanding, followed by a clear explanation of new material using examples and practice problems. I ask a lot of questions to make sure the student is thinking actively and not just watching me solve problems.
