About Zoha
I’m Zoha and I’m an aspiring English teacher. I believe literature is at the core of society and a crucial humanities subject for development as well as being an art form. I have studied English Literature at A level and have completed 12 GCSEs, achieving a grade 9 in English literature and language. I did this through methods that I believe are not only beneficial for exams but also for improving writing and analysis skills throughout the course of education. I am currently working towards a degree in the subject as well as teaching students how to improve their proficiency in English.

I aim to help students improve exam technique, essay writing skills and overall English comprehension. We would do this through extract analysis, looking at language as well as form and structure, wider reading and lessons on context. I run 1 hour sessions at a time, as well as a half an hour consultation free of charge before lessons start to create a plan of action. I have grade 9s in both English Language and English Literature at GCSE and am currently achieving A* at A level. The lessons I offer are for 11+ and years 7-11 (GCSE and below)
