About Ethan
In addition to teaching casually online, I’ve also prepared many for the IELTS speaking exams for the last 3 years. Even when meeting with 20 students every week, I still manage to personalize my lessons and give them meaningful feedback and resources. I teach high schoolers primarily and occasionally college students and those who are already working. I hope our first lesson shows you the type of teacher I am, my dedication to reaching your goal, and my teaching style. Whenever someone gets a tutor they want direction. They don’t know what they need to improve or where they need to start to get where they WANT to be. My goal isn’t to drag out our lessons so that I can get paid, but to teach you what is most relevant to you, what will make you see the most progress, and do so in a way that’s enjoyable. I also hope that through the various resources and techniques I will provide you with, you’ll be able to answer a lot of the questions you have on your own, leaving your time with me for the really really hard questions.
