About Lydia
Hey I'am Lydia currently I am studying at Glasgow university with maths as one of my subjects. I would consider myself someone who is very understanding and encouraging, even when under pressure. I have grown up with many younger siblings and often helped them with their work, mainly maths. This I think, has enabled me with skills that would be advantageous for tutoring teenagers and young children. I have in the past done some tutoring in my secondary school which went well and I received positive feedback. I also have a Sports Leadership qualification, to get this qualification I had to teach many P.E. lessons and hold a sports fair for five Primary Schools ( for which I was the director of events), this is an example of my organisation and motivation skills.In recent years I have enjoyed taking part in several maths challenges. I really would enjoy being able to help people to succeed and also help people to enjoy maths and not see it a challenge but as an accomplishment.
