About Amalia
I have a genuine passion for helping students learn and grow. I have always enjoyed working with children and seeing the moment when something that once seemed difficult suddenly makes sense to them. That feeling is one of the main reasons I decided to become a tutor.
I believe that every child learns differently, and I enjoy finding teaching methods that suit each student's unique learning style. My goal is not only to help students improve their Math marks but also to help them build confidence in themselves and their abilities. I want my students to know that it's okay to make mistakes—because that's how we learn.
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy staying active, spending time with family and friends, and continuously learning new things myself. I believe that learning should be an enjoyable experience, and I bring that positive attitude into every lesson.

I believe every student is capable of succeeding in Math with the right guidance, patience, and encouragement. My teaching approach focuses on creating a relaxed, positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I understand that every learner is different, so I tailor each lesson to suit their individual needs, learning style, and goals.
I am fluent in both English and Afrikaans, allowing me to teach comfortably in either language depending on what helps the student learn best.
During a typical lesson, we will review any areas the student finds challenging, work through examples together, and practice similar questions until they feel confident. I encourage students to think independently while providing support every step of the way. My aim is not only to improve marks but also to build confidence and develop a genuine understanding of mathematical concepts.
My lessons are primarily aimed at students from Grade 1 to Grade 7. Whether a student needs help catching up, preparing for tests and exams, completing homework, or simply wants to strengthen their Math skills, I am here to help. Every lesson is patient, encouraging, and designed to help students reach their full potential while making learning a positive experience.
