About Vickie
Welcome to our classroom! I am so excited to embark on this journey with you. I want to take a moment to introduce myself and share why I chose to become your teacher.
Aside from being the person at the front of the room, I am someone who loves learning and discovering how the world works. More than anything, I am a mentor who believes in your potential.
I chose to teach because I believe that education has the power to change lives. I want to build a supportive space where you feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow. My goal is not just to teach you subjects, but to help you build confidence, discover your unique strengths, and realize that you are capable of achieving great things.
We are going to learn a lot, laugh a lot, and figure things out together. I cannot wait to see what you will accomplish this year!

Want to speak, understand, and connect deeply with your Igbo heritage? I am your name, and I help diaspora learners confidently speak conversational Igbo without feeling overwhelmed by grammar. We do not just memorize words; we master everyday expressions, correct pronunciation (Onyeocha vs. Nwaafọ nuances), and the cultural context behind the phrases.
My Approach to Personal Tutoring:
I use a fully customized, conversational immersion framework. We start exactly where you are, using real-life dialogue scenarios like greeting elders (Ịbịalachi/Ịbọolachị), navigating family gatherings, and understanding Igbo proverbs (Ilu). Every lesson includes audio recordings of our targeted vocabulary so you can practice your tone and inflection between our sessions
