About Wilyn
My goal is to help every learner become a confident reader, speaker, and learner. I use phonics, stories, pictures, games, and interactive activities to make learning enjoyable and meaningful. I am a patient, caring, and dedicated tutor who enjoys helping young learners improve their English language and reading skills. I create fun, simple, and engaging lessons that match each child’s learning level and pace. I believe that every child can learn with the right guidance, encouragement, and support. I am committed to creating a safe, friendly, and positive learning environment where students feel comfortable learning and making progress.

I use a simple, fun, and child-friendly teaching approach. I use phonics, storytelling, pictures, songs, games, reading exercises, and short conversations to help Grade 1 learners understand and enjoy learning. I also adjust my teaching based on each learner’s ability and learning pace. A lesson usually starts with a short warm-up or review, followed by the new lesson. We practice sounds, letters, words, and simple sentences together. Learners then do fun activities such as reading aloud, matching words with pictures, or answering simple questions. The lesson ends with a short review to check what the learner has learned. I am patient, encouraging, and understanding with young learners. I make lessons enjoyable and create a comfortable environment where children feel confident to read, speak, and ask questions. I celebrate small improvements to help build their confidence. My lessons are mainly for Grade 1 learners who are developing their English language and reading skills. I can help beginners and learners who need extra practice with phonics, letter sounds, vocabulary, word reading, sentence reading, comprehension, and basic communication skills.
