I will teach you easy tricks of math. Math will be no more a boring subject for you all. Just like if, 🟦 Trigonometry Problem: Height of a Building Problem: A person is standing 30 meters away from the base of a building. The angle of elevation from the person’s eyes to the top of the building is 45°. Find the height of the building. (Assume the person’s eye level is at ground level for simplicity.) --- Solution: Use of Tangent Function From the right-angled triangle formed: Let the height of the building = h Distance from the building = 30 meters Angle of elevation = 45° \tan(45°) = \frac{\text{opposite}}{\text{adjacent}} = \frac{h}{30} But we know: \tan(45°) = 1 So, 1 = \frac{h}{30} \Rightarrow h = 30 --- Final Answer: The building is 30 meters
