About Kourtney
I can promise that all of my clients will be able to become more proficient in English and even sound like a Native speaker! I speak conversational Spanish and am in the process of learning Korean myself! All are welcome! I believe that the best way for one to become as proficient as possible is to be completely immersed in the language. This is why my classes are conducted entirely in English! As a very friendly, patient, and thoughtful tutor, together we will work to achieve your goals, whether that be passing your next English test or becoming more fluent in the language! I have won several writing awards, am an Honor Roll student, and have always excelled in English! With me, you will achieve much success!

These lessons will be conducted entirely in English! For ESL learners, you will practice 20 minutes speaking, 20 minutes writing, and 20 minutes listening.You will be given vocabulary words and will be expected to learn them, spell them, and understand the meaning. You will also learn English slang, as it is very fundamental in English culture! You will even get to take mini quizzes and tests to show off your proficiency! These lessons will be about 1 hour to 1 1/2. For people that are already proficient or native English speakers yet still struggle, a similar process will be conducted for you. However, you will not be subjected to the 20 minute listening and speaking sessions. You will receive vocabulary, mandatory readings, and will work to improve your grammar and writing skills. With these lessons, you will become an amazing essay writer, and will better understand the stories that you read. You will also learn any other aspects of the English language that may confuse you! Content of these lessons will be entirely dependent on the goals and proficiency of the tutoree. Finally, the first lesson will be a getting to know you lesson, and we will test to see what you already know, what you you want to improve on, and more!
