Hello! My name is Patrick and I'm in my second year of studying for an integrated master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London. I've spent 2 years tutoring Mathematics to students between the ages of 14 to 18 inclusive. My previous employer said that my tutoring was "first class".

Who are my lessons for? I tutor students from year 9 to year 13 inclusive. What subjects do I tutor for? GCSE: Mathematics, Physics and additional Mathematics. A-Level: Mathematics, Physics and Further Mathematics. My Relevant Qualifications: GCSE Maths: 9 GCSE Science: 99 A-level Mathematics: A* A-Level Further Mathematics: A* A-Level Physics: A* A-Level Chemistry: A My primary aim is to ensure that the Maths and/or Physics topics covered in every one of my lessons is fun for the student, while teaching them to a standard that is tailored to them. Over my two years of experience teaching 50+ students at GCSE and A-Level standard I've developed a clear understanding that everyone learns, and has the ability to retain information, slightly differently. I focus on providing a tailored experience for the student in order to target their way of learning, making each session as efficient as possible. I feel that students enjoy my sessions in particular as I try to ensure that their work is praised and their collaborations to the session are heard. I'm fairly flexible with the number of hours I devote to tutoring per week. However, with my busy schedule at university, I restrict my total number of teaching hours to 10 per week, where each session is 1 hour long.
