About Macie
I am a passionate educator who believes every child is capable of growth when they feel supported, understood, and inspired.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University. Through my work in a Reggio Emilia–inspired learning environment and in a Montessori learning approach, I have developed a deep appreciation for child-led learning, curiosity, and meeting students where they are.
As a tutor, I focus on building both academic skills and confidence. I take time to understand each student’s strengths, learning style, and challenges so sessions feel engaging rather than overwhelming. My approach is patient, encouraging, and individualized—because learning looks different for every child.
I especially enjoy helping students develop strong foundations in early literacy, problem-solving, and critical thinking while fostering a love for learning that extends beyond our sessions.
I am committed to creating a positive, supportive space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating progress. I would love the opportunity to support your child’s learning journey.
