About Seclinda
I have spent about six years studying Academic English, and I am passionate about it. I love thinking critically and analytically about texts, and breaking down their key elements to make connections to our life and society today.
One thing I have loved when studying English is learning the author's purpose behind every little detail that they write, and I am passionate about.making others passionate about the subject as well. Writing critiques the world around us. Author's write to say something. We will discover this together, and I promise, you will be excited about what you are reading and writing instead of dreading it.

My lessons are broken down to concepts and catered to you. Depending on your needs, I am able to help with thesis writing, thinking critically about a text, grammar, and paper writing.
A typical lesson includes the basic outline of the skill, me modeling the skill for you, trying it together, and then giving you the opportunity to try it on your own.
One of my strengths is my ability to teach something multiple ways based on the way you learn best. If one thing does not work, I can come up with something that does. I am fully confident that I can have you feeling confident with a skill you are struggling with in no time.
