Having over 50 hours experience as a tutor, I know how to get the best from pupils. Being tutored can be an intimidating experience for a pupil, and I like to develop the best relationships with my tutees possible. I am warm and friendly, and create a welcoming environment in which to learn.
My lessons typically last 1 hour, and I like to make them interactive and collaborative, using exercises and practice questions to both consolidate the pupil's knowledge and confidence. It is important that a student is aware in my lessons that there are 'no stupid questions', and are comfortable with highlighting areas in which they lack confidence.
