About Xinrui

Hello Everyone, My name is Xinrui and I am currently studying for a bachelor's degree in Banking and International Finance at Cass and I will start my master degree at UCL this September. I was born and raised in China for 16 years and I have now lived in four different countries( China, Spain, UK, and Italy) so far. I enjoy learning about different cultures through traveling or learning the language myself, and I believe that interest is the best teacher. I look forward to offering you a comprehensive and interesting Mandarin class to make learning a new language more enjoyable for you.

About the lesson

I know that learning a new language is not easy and those Chinese characters looking so complicated might scare you first. But trust me it is not as difficult as it looks like, I aim to tailor every single class base on your study objectives. Either you are studying for exams or as a personal interest, I aim to design my class in a fun way to introduce you not only to the language itself but also to some fun facts about Chinese culture or Chinese history you might never hear of before.
